LARRY
NELSON WINS GTE CLASSIC USING ALDILA TGi 120 GRAPHITE IRON
SHAFTS
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 25,
1999)
Larry Nelson, earned his
first Senior PGA win in 1999 at last week's GTE Classic with
a two-shot victory over Bruce Fleisher. Nelson, posted a final
round score of 4-under-par 67, to earn $180,000. In only four
starts this year, Nelson has already earned $330,883.
Nelson started using the TGi
120 two weeks ago. He has finished 2nd and 1st in his first
two weeks using the shaft.
Nelson, who uses Aldila TGi 120
graphite shafts in his Taylor Made Firesole irons, also finished
in second place during the previous week of play at the American
Express Invitational.
"Larry has been one of the top
players in professional golf over the years," said Mike Rossi,

The TGi 120 graphite shaft is
a 120 gram shaft which is available in S and X flexes and
features a .355" taper tip or .370" parallel tip design. In
addition, the TGi shaft is sold in frequency matched sets
with every shaft in a set individually designed at a constant
weight and same torque. The TGi shaft also features a swing
weight similar to conventional steel shafts.
