ALDILA
ANNOUNCES NEW TGi 85 GRAPHITE SHAFT
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 10, 1999)
Aldila, golf's leading designer and manufacturer of superior
performance graphite wood and iron shafts announces its newest
product, the TGi 85 graphite shaft for irons.
The new TGi 85 is an extension
to Aldila's unique Tour Grade Fitting System and has all the
same features as the tour proven TGi 100 and TGi 120 iron
shafts.
The TGi 85 design features constant
weight, a regressive torque range of 3.0-2.0 degrees and progressive
frequency matching that produces stiffer tips and optimum
trajectory in the long irons transitioning to a lower, controlled
trajectory in the short irons. In addition, the TGi 85 has
a low balance point which allows it to swingweight the same
as conventional steel shafts.
"We are very excited about the
new TGi 85 graphite shaft," said Mike Rossi, Vice President
of Sales and Marketing. "The shaft is certainly a reflection
of our commitment to extensive research and development that
brings quality products to the marketplace for all golfers."
The TGi 85 is available in R
and S flexes with a .370" tip diameter, .600" butt diameter
and a weight of 85 grams.
Aldila, the leading consumer
shaft brand and number one on the professional tours, supplies
leading manufacturers, distributors and custom clubmakers
throughout the world.
Aldila is a publicly traded company
on the NASDAQ with a symbol of ALDA. |
