ALDILA'S 'COOLEST SHAFTS IN GOLF' SET TOURS ABLAZE WITH VICTORIES AT WGC, PGA, NATIONWIDE AND CHAMPIONS
POWAY, Calif. – Aldila’s “coolest shafts in golf” were on fire this past weekend posting four Tour victories. The winner at the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona used the Aldila VS Proto™ Hybrid. The winner of the PGA Tour Mayakoba Golf Classic in Mexico used Aldila’s NV ™Hybrid. The victor of the HBSC New Zealand PGA Championship on the Nationwide Tour used Aldila’s VS Proto Hybrid. Rounding out the weekend victories, the winner of the Champions Tour Ace Classic in Naples, Fla. used the Aldila NV 65 in his driver and NV in his 3-wood.
“The weekend’s results reaffirm the Darrell Survey U.S. National Consumer Survey findings ... Aldila is the leading graphite shaft manufacturer for consumers with new drivers, fairway woods and hybrid clubs,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager.
The four weekend victories add to Aldila’s fantastic start of the 2007 season. So far Aldila has wins at the Sony Open and the LPGA season-opening SBS Open by Paula Creamer last week.
Aldila also was the number one wood and hybrid shaft in use at the World Golf Championships. Additionally, they were the hybrid shaft of choice at the Mayakoba Golf Classic, the HBSC New Zealand PGA Championship, the Ace Classic on the Champions Tour and the LPGA’s Fields Open in Hawaii.
The VS Proto shaft incorporates Aldila’s innovative new Next Generation Micro Laminate TechnologyTM featuring Carbon Nano-tubes, combined with Aldila’s proprietary A65 Performance Resin System, using advanced high modulus graphite fibers, all synthesized into Micro Laminate Technology™.
Aldila remains the leader and innovator and premier manufacturer of high-performance graphite golf shafts. Whether PGA Tour Professional, Club Champion or devoted weekend player, the choice remains the same ... Aldila.
