ALDILA NAMES ED NEWELL AS QUALITY ENGINEER SAN DIEGO, CA (July 17, 2001) Aldila, golf's leading designer and manufacturer of high performance graphite wood and iron shafts, announced today Ed Newell as Quality Engineer, who will be responsible for product quality at the company's Poway facility.

Prior to this position, Ed was employed by Sony for over 20 years working in various areas including Process Engineering and Management. In addition, Newell, is a graduate of Trinity College with a degree in Business Management.
