TOM CARTER WINS NATIONWIDE PRICE CUTTER EVENT USING BOTH THE ALDILA ONE AND ALDILA NV PROTOTYPE GRAPHITE SHAFTS IN HIS TWO WINS THIS SUMMER

San Diego, CA (August 18, 2003)-Aldila, Inc (NASDAQ; ALDA) golf's leading designer and manufacturer of high performance graphite wood and irons shafts, had a win at the Nationwide's Price Cutter event with Tom Carter's victory. This is his second win this summer after capturing the Samsung Canadian tournament in July.

Carter, shot 17-under par 267 for a one shot win. Carter used the Aldila One graphite shaft in his driver and the NV Prototype in his 3-wood.
