TOM CARTER WINS THIRD NATIONWIDE EVENT USING BOTH THE ALDILA ONE AND ALDILA NV PROTOTYPE GRAPHITE SHAFTS IN HIS THREE WINS THIS SUMMER

San Diego, CA (September 2, 2003)-Aldila, Inc (NASDAQ; ALDA) golf's leading designer and manufacturer of high performance graphite wood and irons shafts, had a win at the Nationwide's Alberta Calgary Classic event with Tom Carter's victory. This is his third win this summer after capturing the Samsung Canadian tournament in July and the Price Cutter in August. With this win, Tom graduates and now becomes a full-time member of the PGA TOUR.

Carter used the Aldila One graphite shaft in his driver and the NV Prototype in his 3-wood.
