Immelman, used the Aldila NV in his NIKE driver and in his Sonartec 3 wood in capturing the title for the second straight year. Immelman, who shot 12-under-par 276 for his three shot win, was the first play with back-to-back wins at this event since Gary Player won both the 1976 and 1977 tournaments.
