Aldila Graphite Shafts Record Two Wins - Aldila NV On Nationwide Tour And Italian Open Using New "Cinnamon" Shaft

Poway, CA, May 9, 2005 - Aldila, Inc. (NASDAQ:NMS:ALDA) announced today it had two wins last week – The Nationwide Rex Hospital Open and Italian Open. The winner of the Nationwide Tour event used the NV Driver and Hybrid Shaft, while the Italian Open champion used the new Tour Proto “Cinnamon” graphite shaft that is being tested on Tour. Also, this past week was the third week in a row that over 100 Aldila NV’s were in play on the Nationwide Tour, accounting for nearly 30% of all wood shafts in play. “It’s very gratifying to see the tremendous acceptance of our NV Series of graphite shafts and the successes of players using them,” said Michael J.
